Fundamentals of Building Biology is an informative home study course that will enable you to assess the health hazards in your home from allergens like dust, dustmite, pollens and mould, to assesing chemicals in household products. You will also learn about the various contaminants in your drinking water like chlorine, fluoride, pesticides, petrochemicals, and heavy metals, the latest research and more importantly, the type of water filtration systems you should consider. The course will focus on ways to reduce and/or avoid one's exposure to these hazards. Students who wish to obtain credit towards the Certificate IV in Building Biology (22141VIC) will need to complete the assessments for these subjects. The course is only available via correspondence. In addition to comprehensive manuals, correspondence students will also receive interactive DVD’s of the lectures so you can watch the lectures in the comfort of your own home!

Correspondence students send $1,390 along with the completed enrolment form and you will receive a course information pack containing two manuals, DVDs of the lectures, contact details of your tutor, student learning guides and a student handbook. Alternatively you may enrol in single subjects.
