The Building Biology course requires you to attend two one-week on-campus training programs in order to fulfil the Air Sampling, Electrobiology, Mould Testing and Research Methods subjects. These on-campus subjects are only offered once per year in Melbourne, Australia. The Mould Testing Technician course is also available in Sydney, Gold Coast and Perth (Australia) as well as Auckland, New Zealand (click HERE for the Mould Testing Course timetable).  

Melbourne (May 2019)

Prerequisites:

Students must complete the Air Pollution and Electricity Fundamentals subjects online to be eligible to attend the Air Sampling and Electrobiology subjects respectively.

Dates:

Air Sampling: Saturday 18th to Monday 20th May (9.30am to 5pm) and Tuesday 21st May (9.30am to 12.30pm)
Electrobiology: Tuesday 21st May (2 to 5pm) and Wednesday 22nd May to Friday 24th May (9.30am to 5pm)
Geobiology(Elective): Friday 24th (6.30 to 9pm) and Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th May (9.30am to 5pm)

Time:

9.30am to 5pm

Venue:

ACES, Shop 3 / 90 Melbourne Hill Rd, Warrandyte. VIC. Pick up from the Nunawading train station on the Lilydale/Belgrave train line can be arranged.

Melbourne (August 2019)

Prerequisites:

To do Research Methods, you must be currently enrolled in or have completed the Mould Testing subject.

Dates:

Mould Testing: Monday 26th to Thursday 29th August
Research Methods
: Friday 30th August to Sunday 1st September 

Time:

9.30am to 5pm

Venue:

Mould Testing course to be held in Ringwood.

Research Methods to be held at ACES (Warrandyte). Pick up from Nunawading train station can be organised.
