The Electromagnetic Field Testing Technician course is a nationally accredited course that consists of two subjects: Electricity Fundamentals (online only) which is a prerequisite before you can enrol in the Electrobiology subject. The information on this page relates to the Electrobiology subject which consists of 3 days of online training with an instructor followed by 12 weeks of self-directed online learning AND two day field training (260 hours in total). Most students enrol in the Electrobiology subject before the 3 day zoom course in order to give them extra time to get through the online materials. The field trips will be conducted in a residential home. Class limit for field training is 14 participants.
Prerequisite: must have completed the Electricity Fundamentals subject. Licensed Electricians may receive a partial exemption from this subject.
Investment: Electricity Fundamentals is $795 (online subject) AND Electrobiology is $1995.
Assessments: There are 4 assessments: online quiz PLUS questionnaire PLUS checklist PLUS report.
NOTE: You must participate in the 3 day online zoom course BEFORE you are able to attend the field trips.
